High Performance Computing with ANSYS
High Performance Computing (HPC) makes it possible to examine complex systems with the help of numerical simulation in high detail and in the shortest time. By using processors in parallel, HPC makes even exceptionally large models calculable without compromising the details and thus the quality of the results.
But even without extreme model sizes, HPC is worthwhile: The massive acceleration of calculation runs means that results are often available "overnight". A license is thus better used and computationally intensive technologies - such as parametric or simultaneous simulation of design variants - are possible.
CADFEM advises and supports not only in the selection and configuration of an individual hardware solution, but also in the commissioning of the appropriate IT infrastructure, so that the special requirements of the simulation on hardware and software can be effectively fulfilled.
Ready-to-use Hardware
Unpack, switch on, calculate - that's how easy it is to start with CAE-optimized hardware components and complete solutions from CADFEM. Because they are already installed, pre-configured and tested according to your specifications. This allows you to concentrate on your calculation tasks right from the start.
The configuration of hardware solutions depends on many factors, including the number of users, analysis types (CFD, FEM, implicit, explicit), model size, number of simultaneous analyses, network connection or data management.
ANSYS HPC Parametric Pack
The ANSYS HPC Parametric Pack licenses duplicate ANSYS basic licenses for pre-processing, networking, equation solution, parallelization and post-processing for the simultaneous calculation of several variants of a parameter study. In this way, the existing hardware can be used much better to obtain the results of all variants earlier and thus to make the right decisions at an earlier point in time.
Comparable to scaling by parallelisation with ANSYS HPC Pack licenses, the new ANSYS HPC Parametric Pack licenses now offer the possibility to achieve scaling by simultaneous variant calculation. An ANSYS HPC Parametric Pack license allows the simultaneous release of four variants with an ANSYS Basic license (e.g. ANSYS Mechanical).
Each additional ANSYS HPC Parametric Pack license doubles the number of variants that can be solved simultaneously. Up to 64 design variants can be calculated with five Parametric Pack licenses.
